So… I’ve been having some problems with LaW lately, as some of you might be aware of. And by ‘lately’ I mean ‘for the last year or so.’ Even though I’ve posted a couple of chapters here and there over 2008, most of them were written over Winter Break in 2006. XD; I just didn’t post them right away since I knew it was going to take me a while to do anything else. Chapters 13-16 were written over four weeks at the end of 2006/beginning of 2007, and since then I’ve only been able to do Chapter Seventeen, and then this small bit of Chapter Eighteen.

Why? I just haven’t been feeling the Yuuram lately. It’s still my OTP (at least canonically?? or, at least when it comes to canon characters), I’ve just been having some trouble actually writing them together for some time now (a year and a half to two years, I suppose, though you probably couldn’t tell because of the rate at which I updated). I finally got back to doing some work on it today, and managed to finish the very first scene after a couple of hours of fighting with it.

I’m posting it now because I could really use some help/reassurance that my writing Yuuram hasn’t turned into shit over the last couple of years. I think part of the reason it’s been so hard recently is because I’ve started to feel like I can’t write them anymore (the fact that my interests have changed and the way I see them together is different than it used to be when I first started writing LaW doesn’t help either). D: It’s very, very frustrating, especially considering so much of my work is/has been focused around them.

Tomorrow I’m probably also going to post the first scene of Chapter Five of To Love. It begins the four chapter Yuuri/Wolfram segment, and I’ve been having just as many problems with it as I’ve had with this (though not over such a long period of time, obviously). And then maybe later on tonight I’ll post something random that I’ve been working on just for fun, depending on whether or not I like it at all the next time I read through it. XD; (<-- and if this segment is bolded, I have no idea why... D: The HTML is correct, but for some reason it's still showing up bold on my journal, yet when I click on the cut and then scroll down to the bottom, it's not)

As I sat in the dorm by myself for the entire day, attempting to complete the third chapter of To Love, I stumbled across a road block. I’ve been wanting to get to a certain part/scene for a while now, and now that I’m there I can’t seem to figure out how I want to do it. XD;

So I went back through my computer files searching for inspiration, and remembered all this. These three one-shots were originally done for the Fanfic Meme at kkm_wolframfans, but seeing as it’s been, like, a year and I haven’t finished all five prompts yet, I haven’t posted anything. Until now. These are the first three prompts, the only ones I’ve managed to finish in the last twelve months. Not my best writing, but whatever.
